Peter Stepanovic Galadzev (1900-1971) was a designer, graphic artist, and actor. Galadzev studied at the prestigious Stroganov School of Industrial Art in Moscow and later at Vkhutemas. Throughout his career, he was deeply involved in the world of cinema and theater, working as a theater magazine illustrator, a film actor, and even a film director. He also designed costumes for performances, such as this pair of studies of theater or ballet dancers, which is typical of the Constructivist school.
