The artist represented Egypt, Rome, Greece, Byzantium, the Middle Ages, and the 19th century.

Chéri Herouard (1881-1961), real name Chéri-Louis-Marie-Aimé HAUME, French illustrator of the 19th and 20th centuries. After illustrating children's books, he worked for many years for the newspaper "La vie Parisienne", or other magazines such as "le smile", "Fantasia", or "La baïonette".
