A very fine lithographic reproduction of the famous painting by Gérard, the 1834 version of which is preserved at the Château de Versailles in a gilded wood frame from the first third of the 19th century. Interesting portrait depicting the French king taking the oath on the Charter, and dressed in the uniform of the Garde Nationale, which focuses on the events of August 1830 and shows the evolution of the representation of power between the absolute and constitutional monarchies. An excellent historical souvenir!
