Monochrome engraving representing a painting by Louis Carrogis de Carmontelle (1717-1806) featuring the young Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart playing the piano next to his father Léopold and his sister Marianne.
This engraving came from the famous and large Parisian printing house Lemercier created in 1828 and closed in 1901.
This work is presented in a later gilded wood frame, patterned with acanthus leaves and shells, with an openwork pediment decorated with a beribboned laurel wreath, framed by Girard Relieur in Angers.
This authentic engraving will appeal to music lovers, fans of the young virtuoso and lovers of art objects.
