    Etching representing a Grognard of the Empire, (soldier of Napoleon's Old Guard) seen by Ernest Meissonier (1815-1891) and engraved by Louis Ruet. Meissonier was very famous for his great miltary compositions and historical scenes showing Napoléon's campaigns.
