Charles Jouas is a French designer, painter and illustrator. He attended several workshops, including that of Georges Clairin, student of Isidore Pils, and Henri Regnault. The Geneva Museum of Art and History has a copy of this engraving. The Carnavalet Museum in Paris preserves views of Paris from 1905 and 1906.
