Superb Engraving Representing the Morning of the Eighteenth Brumaire In Its Original Wood and Golden Stucco Frame. Set from the 19th century.
It is engraved by Jean Pierre Marie Jazet (1788-1871), The subject is taken from the work of Henri Frédéric Schopin (1804-1880). This Engraving Illustrates Eighteenth Brumaire, Day of the coup d'état perpetrated by Napoleon Bonaparte which caused the fall of the Directory and sanctioned the end of the French Revolution.
