Antonio Andivero was a Uruguayan artist born in Montevideo in 1934 and died in 2017. He was a painter, sculptor, and engraver. "I am surrealist in my technique because I draw automatically," he said. But his work is full of symbols, especially the omnipresent circle. Here is a gouache, 32 x 25 cm, signed and dated 1975.
