A student at the École des Beaus-Arts in Rennes, Jacques Jullien painted Breton subjects. Appointed drawing teacher in Lesneven in 1917, he exhibited gouaches and prints from the 1920s onwards in several galleries: Louis Carré in Rennes and Galerie Prouté in Paris.
