Sandra Magsamen is an American author, artist, art therapist, and designer. She has published more than 60 books. Magsamen first became interested in the arts and the connection between art, creativity, health, and well-being as a child, when she was seriously injured in a farm accident and spent a year at home and in the hospital, where she spent her days painting and drawing. In 1987, Magsamen began creating her own artwork in her kitchen to commemorate the varied experiences and inspirations of everyday life. She created a collection of pottery for her newborn daughter as a gift of life lessons. This gift became the very essence of her work. In response to growing demand for her original handmade pieces, Magsamen founded Table Tiles, Inc., her handmade gift company, in 1991, which, in less than a decade, grew into a multimillion-dollar gift business. This piece is an original work. It was purchased in Inverness, Scotland, at the Riverside Gallery. Mixed media: felt and gouache. Dimensions: 54x79 cm. In perfect condition. Shipping to the United States: For this item, valued at over €500, shipping to the United States is available only upon request for a quote (shipping carrier, insurance, and customs duties based on the item’s value).
