Watercolor drawing representing the Basilica of Santa Maria della Salute in Venice. This work was produced by the famous vedutist Emanuele Brugnoli (1859-1944). This artist is part of the school of modern vedutists influenced by impressionism at the turn of the 20th century.
He exhibited from 1900 in many international exhibitions. In 1912 he joined the Academy of Venice as a professor.
Our drawing is signed lower right.
It has two tears at the bottom.
