Amazing large watercolor on bis paper, framed as you see....
Beautiful marine view of a Marseille landscape that now exists almost as a memory, the district having become highly urbanized. The colors and volumes are beautiful, as is the light. Signed by the artist: H. Monestier. Sold at the time by a Beaux Arts gallery in Marseille, expert Mr. Georges Caors, 13 rue Moustier.
Dimensions: View: 53 x 39cm, frame: 76cm x 62cm.
Fairly good condition, no glass, needs re-tensioning,
