    The Soleil-Royal is a French warship, in service from 1669 to 1692. Named after the Sun King, Louis XIV (1638 - 1715). A first rank ship of the line that carried up to 104 guns on three decks. It burned at the end of the battle of La Hougue, on June 2nd 1692.
