    Beautiful antique Delftware plate, dating from the first half of the 18th century.
    The decoration, in shades of blue using the grand feu technique, depicts a stylized flower basket surrounded by a rich floral motif and insects on the rim. The workmanship is typical of Dutch Delftware production of this period, with a free and lively design.
    The glaze displays a natural patina and micro-crazing consistent with its age.
    A few small chips are visible on the rim, noted for their perfect transparency.
    The reverse shows the irregularities and firing marks characteristic of antique Delftware.
