    Gien soup plate Rambouillet model with mallard duck. Hand painted, signed Jean Bertholle and stamp of the Gien factory.
    Good condition, a repair on the reverse to report, the location (decor side) is impeccable.

    Still produced and sold by the Gien factory for €255 each.

    On the Gien "Rambouillet" model: This hand-painted decoration was created in 1955, designed by the artist Jean Bertholle to respond to the request of the President of the Republic René Coty, 4th Republic. He equipped the prestigious residences of the republic which housed the presidential hunts.
