Set of three earthenware plates from the Gien factory, the iconic Rambouillet pattern.

Hand-painted decoration, comprising:

1 plate with a duck

1 plate with a pheasant

1 plate with a hare

Each piece is signed Jean Bertholle and bears the Gien factory mark.
The Rambouillet pattern, created in 1955, was designed by the artist Jean Bertholle at the request of President René Coty. This prestigious service was intended for the presidential residences hosting hunts. A highly sought-after pattern, still produced by the Gien factory, with a retail price of approximately €255 per plate. Very good overall condition.
