Glazed Ceramic Water Jug
A beautiful polychrome glazed ceramic water jug with a floral design. It features a bulbous shape, a large ring handle, and several spouts.

The body is decorated on the front with a large, hand-painted, stylized floral motif. The central flower is in shades of blue, yellow, and white, surrounded by abundant green, red, and brown foliage outlined in black.
This design stands out against a cream-colored glazed background enlivened by numerous blue, green, and orange speckles, giving the piece a particularly decorative character and a striking presence.
The shape, with its upper handle and multiple spouts, reflects the tradition of popular Mediterranean water jugs and pitchers. An original decorative piece, it would be equally interesting in a ceramic collection or displayed on its own.
The partially unglazed base reveals the clay and traces of its manufacture. Period: 20th century
Material: glazed ceramic
Decoration: polychrome floral, hand-painted
Height: 32 cm
Diameter: approximately 18 cm
Base diameter: 11 cm
Good overall condition, with slight irregularities and signs of wear inherent to a handcrafted piece.
