A pair of earrings, Napoleon 111, regal and elegant. Long leaf-shaped drops in an 18-carat gold frame. They're light and easy to wear every day. They could well be Onyx, but I prefer to say they're Jet.

One stone has a little sparkle but is not easily visible.

There is a double Eagle Head hallmark, which, if I understand correctly, was made as a method of protection against fraud from 1847 - 1919 due to one or more stolen stamps.
