A rare and striking antique Swedish brooch, convertible into a necklace or brooch, crafted by the silversmith Per Magnus Wallengren (1802-1884). Made of silver and vermeil (gilt silver), it is adorned with glass paste (imitating precious stones) and embellished with finely worked filigree scrollwork. The chain is composed of round links and can be transformed into a brooch using a large pin on the back.

Please note that we found it in its original condition: the chain, as well as the ornament or pendant, are in their original state. The piece is in good condition overall; there are traces of soldering on the back. The brooch is in used condition. Sold as is.
