    Stunning vintage 1980s necklace, genuine natural Baltic amber. Irregular, graduated baroque/nugget beads, approximately 1cm to 3cm long, in alternating multicolored amber: cognac, honey, brown, and milky "butterscotch" amber. Beautiful interplay of transparency and texture; thick, unreconstituted beads. Original handcrafted design on yellow cotton thread, with a decorative metal lobster clasp and a light patina from use. Total length 62cm. Very good overall condition, slight wear to the beads, minor signs of wear. Weight approximately 94g.
