The necklace is made of "knife" links set with pearl-set diamond roses.
It is adorned with 15 fine pearls, ranging in size from 4.3 to 8.2 mm.
13 are seawater and the two smaller ones on either side of the clasp are freshwater.
The invisible ratchet clasp has a safety eight.
