Jacob Petit (Paris, France—19th century): This is the most common reference for a blue “JP” mark hand-drawn in this manner. Jacob Petit was a leading figure in the so-called “Old Paris” porcelain movement. His pieces are often characterized by an exuberant, colorful Rococo Revival style, adorned with gilding and embossed flowers. [1, 2]
