Superb pair of 19th-century Louis XVI style five-light chased bronze candlesticks.
Round base decorated with rows of pearls, ovals, and acanthus leaves.
Very richly chased shaft encircled with cords, also decorated with ovals and rows of pearls.
The base of the light arms is carved with acanthus leaves, as well as the entire length of the arms with various finely crafted ornaments.
The sockets are topped with bobeches with rows of pearls.
Superb workmanship of very high quality.
Very good overall condition: 1 very slight deformation on the base of one of the two candlesticks.
