Pair of finely chased gilt bronze candlesticks from the Restoration period.
They consist of cylindrical shafts topped by chalices and bobèches decorated with plant motifs such as bulbs and acanthus leaves. The base consists of three lion paws resting on a triangular base with concave sides.
These delicately worked torches will wonderfully dress the table that will be theirs.
