Pair of gilt bronze and black patina candlesticks decorated with child satyrs, holding the arms of the candlestick decorated with bunches of grapes. Rustic demigod depicted as a human-like being with goat-like legs, elongated pointed ears, horns and a curved tail (brothers of the nymphs, satyrs were associated with the cult of Dionysus, god of wine) 19th century. Dimensions: 29cm high 25cm wide each.
