    Elegant pair of patinated bronze candlesticks adorned with polychrome cloisonné enamel, stylized floral decoration on a black background in the spirit of Second Empire Japonism.
    The finely cloisonné decoration, combining shades of blue, green, red and gold, recalls the work of Ferdinand Barbedienne, a famous 19th-century Parisian bronze-maker who developed models inspired by the Far East.
    Turned shafts in bronze with a beautiful antique patina, resting on a fully enameled circular base. Equally ornate bobèches, creating a beautiful decorative unity.
    Period: Late 19th century (circa 1870-1890)
