Charming pair of gilt bronze double-arm chandeliers, richly adorned with pearls, flowers, and cut crystal pendants.
The central shaft is composed of a molded crystal baluster, topped with a cut crystal dagger, forming a refined apex characteristic of models from the second half of the 19th century.
The pendants alternate between clear crystal and amber drops, bringing a warm and subtle interplay of color to the light.
Each arm features a bobèche adorned with rows of pearls, mounted on an ornate base.
The circular gilt bronze base is finely decorated with rows of pearls and a stylized cord, reminiscent of the passementerie motifs typical of the decors fashionable under Louis XVI, here elegantly recreated in the Napoleon III era.
These girandoles were electrified at some point in their history. They are now presented unelectrified, ready to be restored to their original use by candlelight or to be electrified again according to your wishes.
Please note: the girandoles exhibit a slight axial deformation; depending on their orientation, they may appear to lean slightly. This remains discreet and does not affect their charm or stability.
A fine example of Second Empire decorative art, ideal for adorning a console table, fireplace, or chest of drawers.
