Large pair of sculpture-forming torches in patinated bronze, 19th century circa 1850
decorated with a draped, nude nymph from above riding a dolphin, and a satyr seated on a leopard. Numerous moldings and chasing, superb quality and execution.
This relatively rare and highly decorative model has been attributed to the sculptor Corneille Van Clève (1645-1732).
