    GIROUX, Alphonse. Famous woodworking and cabinetmaking shop located at 7, rue du coq Saint-Honoré, in Paris. The business of this shop, founded by François-Simon-Alphonse GIROUX, extended from the Consulate to the end of the Second Empire, with the father and then the son.
    The sons Alphonse-Gustave and André Giroux took over the business in 1838, which then became "Alphonse Giroux et Cie" until its acquisition by Duvinage in 1867.
