In the style of the Jean Perzel Establishment, a circular ceiling chandelier with an inverted ogee pattern (Cavet), painted sheet metal and solid brass ornaments. The center is covered with a sandblasted glass slab. Late Art Deco style, circa 1940/1950.
In very good condition, from a family home where it had never been owned.
The electrical system was textile cable, but has been replaced with modern wiring (2 x 0.75⊃2;), with new lacquered paint identical to the original (off-white / ecru).
The chandelier was installed with its double chain; its initial configuration probably stops at the first ceiling rose. (It is easy to remove the chain that reaches the ceiling.)
