    Boomerang chandelier by Rispal.

Chandelier composed of two stained-wood boomerangs with four wires from which hang opaline glass shades.

RISPAL was a French lighting manufacturer based in Paris and active from the mid-1920s to 1982. MATERIAL's products were highly varied, using materials such as wood, glass, brass, crystal and wrought iron. In the 1950s, the company launched a line of lighting models called "Formes Nouvelles", inspired by Scandinavian lines, nature and artists such as Alexander Calder and Hans Arp. The materials used for this line were wood and opalines, as well as Rhodoïd, for the creation of the lampshades, which to this day are very rare to find. The house's most emblematic model is undoubtedly the praying mantis, a design inspired by the insect's elegant lines, turning the piece into a luminous sculpture.
