Regulate lamp with brown patina signed by the French sculptor Charles-Octave Lévy (1840-1899).
A student of Armand Toussaint, Lévy was decorated several times during his career.
The artist's famous works include “Faneur”, “Naïade” and “Amphitrite”.
It is precisely the latter that we present to you here.
Amphitrite is a regula print representing a Nereid, daughter of Nereus and Doris, wife of Poseidon.
This sculpture rests on a circular base with a wooden groove surrounded by a pink metal garland.
