Iconic “Glaçon” table lamp (Iviken model) produced by the Swedish company IKEA in the 1990s. This sculptural lamp takes the minimalist form of a melting ice cube. It consists of a large, heavy block of molded glass with an organic exterior texture that mimics frost, while the inner walls are delicately frosted. The shade fits onto its original molded white plastic base, which includes the wiring. When lit, the glass’s unique texture filters the light from the bulb to cast a particularly soft, subdued, and warm ambient glow. A classic of late 20th-century Scandinavian design, perfect for adding a retro-minimalist touch to a sideboard, nightstand, or desk. Condition: In very good overall condition and fully functional. The glass block has no chips or major cracks. The electrical system is original (wired switch and socket for a small-base bulb; an LED bulb is recommended to prevent overheating). Very slight signs of normal wear under the base. * Manufacturer: IKEA * Model: Iviken * Period: 1990s * Materials: Thick molded glass, plastic base * Dimensions: Approximately 15 cm x 15 cm x 15 cm Fast and careful shipping
