I am selling this superb pair of antique gilt bronze lamps, "Cannon Shaft" model, Empire period, circa 1805/1810, in very good overall condition. These lamps are adorned with a beautiful basketwork motif, vine branches, egg-shaped friezes, and large palmettes at the base of the shaft. The fittings are new, as are the pair of slate gray lampshades.
