This model from the Idell series, a contraction of Christian Dell's name and the word "Idea," embodies a rigorous functional vocabulary, stemming from Bauhaus research and adapted to standardized industrial production in the 1950s and 60s.

This lamp is thus a prime example of modernist design associated with the Bauhaus legacy.
