Elegant neoclassical-style table lamp, 30 cm high and 22 cm in diameter, resting on a square natural alabaster base, with a shaft shaped like an antique amphora. Alabaster, recognizable by its translucent appearance and cloudy veins, gives the lamp a soft and luminous texture, very different from the denser, crystalline marble.
The neck, base, and magnificent side handle in gilt bronze cast in the shape of a swan or stylized creature evoke the typical ornaments of the Empire style, reinterpreted here in a decorative vein typical of the late 19th century. The whole is topped with a pleated shade adorned with gilded braid and a textile fringe that reinforces its refined character.
