Galerie Georgette Art Nouveau offers this delightful Pair of Art Nouveau Lamps. Signed Bernard Bloch (1836-1909), this Pair of vases mounted as lamps and entitled "Libellulle" and "Papillon" as mentioned on the plates of each Lamp, is of the Art Nouveau period. The very fine sculptures of the two female figures are in relief and are in patinated, polychrome plaster. The lampshades, also antique, are reminiscent of the dragonfly and butterfly. There are a few chips from wear and tear. Both lamps are functional, as shown in the photos. The size is 47 cm and the mark is recessed, as are the numbers on the back of each Lamp. A very nice pair of decorative and functional Lamps.
