I am offering for sale this beautiful and elegant pair of silver-plated bronze table candlesticks mounted as lamps, from the Napoleon III period, in good overall condition. They are adorned with an amusing fish-scale motif and rest on a substantial round pedestal. They are characteristic of the production of Christofle during the Second Empire, and these candlesticks are attributed to this great house. The shafts of these candlesticks are baluster-shaped.
There are a few small traces of desilvering, but this is normal for objects of this age!
The electrical systems are new, as are the off-white lampshades.
