Art Deco lamp base in wrought iron, riveted, hammered and engraved.
Probably from the Nancy School, this is the style with which Muller equipped its fine lighting fixtures in the 1920s, in the taste of Edgar Brandt or Paul Kiss.
Riveted, 3-step square base with hatch-engraved edges. Saddle-shaped column made of four square-section twists, engraved and hammered. At the base, centered, a twisted spearhead. The two-step upper part, screwed with four turned knobs, is highly decorative, with spiral corners and four wooden olives. The screw thread is brass for an electric socket, which I don't have and is half-hidden by an iron rose with cut-out petals.
    Height 35cm, base: 14cm x 14cm. Weight approx. 2.9 kg .
    Condition: good, no defects.
