Born in Lille in 1968, I worked for many years in the world of interior design, and lived in Marseille, the city I love, where I often return in search of light. Driven by a quest for aesthetics, I have always loved to create and experiment. For a long time, drawing and painting were my modes of expression, with favorite themes such as Nature and its plants, or "containers" like pots. While my encounter with ceramics came later in life, it is now essential, and it seemed natural to me to link my painting practice with that of working with clay to continue this search for beauty in volumes, materials, and the interplay of light and shadow. Clay offers me a thousand ways to express and shape an idea, a drawing, an image. Its sensuality and authenticity constantly attract and stimulate me."
