Important pair of Louis XVI style wall sconces with two lights in gilt and chased bronze.
The stem, adorned with fluted molding and laurel garlands, is surmounted by a fire-pot urn.
The lights are chased with acanthus leaves and fluted bobeches.
Beautiful gilding, after a model by Jean-Louis Prieur.
Circa 1880.
Height 44 cm, width 30 cm.
