Pair of NX40 wall sconces, designed by Louis Kalff for Philips and introduced into the Dutch manufacturer's catalog in the late 1950s.
Each piece features a white-lacquered aluminum structure, highlighted by a curved wooden element - walnut or teak - providing warmth and contrast. The cylindrical diffuser in white satin-finish glass ensures soft, even light.
