    Three-step English mahogany library staircase, with built-in storage chests under a hinged lid step.

    Flamed mahogany construction framed with recessed moldings, resting on turned coil-shaped legs. The step tops are trimmed with green-brown patinated leather, patterned gold stamped border, heavily worn and blackened by time. Interior of secondary wood chests, untreated back. Old patina from use, visible wear consistent with the age of the piece. Condition to be assessed: cleaning and treatment of the leather to be expected. Dimensions: H. 65 cm – L. 66 cm. Weight: 20 kg.
