In this 16th-century medallion, Adam and Eve, tempted by the serpent, are about to pick the fruit of knowledge.
The serpent, wrapped around a tree, holds the apple in its mouth and places it in Eve's hand. Adam and Eve are naked and embracing. They are surrounded by other animals from the Garden of Eden. We recognize an ox and perhaps a porcupine.
Painted in grisaille and silver yellow.
All the pieces in this stained-glass window are glued to a transparent support glass.
