    Mukahla flintlock RIFLE
    Morocco, 19th century
    Silver, steel, wood, brass
    Overall length: 157; Barrel length: 121 cm
    Cal.: 14 mm

    Flintlock barrel, then round, held to the frame by nine silver and one steel nasturtiums, decorated with floral and geometric motifs. Flintlock lock with steel chenapan. Chased steel ramrod. Wooden frame with silver fittings and nails. Stock decorated en suite. The breech tail is re-hammered in cut silver. The decoration is completed with engraved silver and brass ornaments. The trigger guard is made of brass and decorated with silver cut-outs. Steel buttplate.
