    BOX SET WITH TWO HILL'S PANTED SELF EXTRACTOR REVOLVERS

    Revolver N°1: Caliber 380
    Octagonal barrel, rifled bore, dovetailed half-moon front sight, marked on top right side: HILL'S PATENT N°257, and on the upper left: THE STANLEY, with two control marks.
    Closed carcass, marked on the right side: JOINT PATENT & Co and numbered C22802 with control stamp; the left side is marked TRADE MARK, with the winged hourglass sigil surmounted by the initials Hill'S.
    Single and double action.
    Key release by push-button and upward tilt. The system allows collective extraction by means of a clamp fixed to the top with the jaws pushing the extractor. Punched six-chamber cylinder.
    Finely checkered walnut stock plates; stock cap fitted with a piton-mounted ring.
    Revolver N°2: Caliber 450
    Octagonal barrel, rifled bore, dovetailed half-moon front sight, marked on top right side: HILL'S PATENTSELF EXTRACTOR.
    Closed frame; single and double action.
    Key release by push-button and upward tilt. The system allows collective extraction by means of a clamp fixed to the top with the jaws pushing the extractor.
    Punched six-chamber cylinder.
    Finely checkered walnut stock plates; stock cap fitted with a piton-mounted ring.
    Both revolvers are in excellent condition, with 100% nickel-plated finish.
    Screwed walnut case with brass button. The interior is lined with blue felt, and the inside of the lid retains its original label. Lock with key. It contains a grease pot and a cleaning rod.
    The configuration of this box certainly makes it unique.
    This collective extraction system was patented by Stanley Hill in the early 1870s.
