Percussion PISTOL

Overall length: 36 cm - Barrel length: 21.8 cm
Caliber: 14 mm

Octagonal barrel, smooth and rifled; stamped "ELG" in a circle, representing the ordinary proof of a black powder gun made in Liège, Belgium.
Breechblock with V-shaped rear sight, chased with leafy motifs.
Front lock with flat body and crested hammer engraved en suite.
Counterplate engraved with flowers and ears of corn.
All iron fittings engraved.
Walnut frame, short barrel, checkered grip, carved beaded cap with hinged shell-mounted forged piece opening onto a reservoir.
Silver pushpiece.
Silver rosettes.
Nailhead rod and pans on one side and threaded lug on the other.

Very good condition.
