Napoleonic Cavalry. Grenadiers and Dragoons of the Imperial Guard.

Pigeon-throated" bridle bit. Round brass bosses depicting a grenade on a sandblasted background, framed by a series of five moldings and a sixth, wider molding at the top and bottom. Each boss ends in a scalloped protruding tab designed to receive the riveting nail for attachment to the branches.
Branch length 20.5 cm, mouthpiece width 13 cm.
