Mounting with joint arc and two brass secondary branches engraved with acanthus leaves.
Short-tailed cap engraved with laurel leaves.
Rivure dome-button.
Beaked top, chased with an acanthus leaf and a palmette.
Brown horn spindle filigree with brass thread.
Single-edged curved blade, flat back and gutter, marked "Mre d'armes de Chat - Juillet 1873 Cavrie leg Mle 1822".
Sheet steel scabbard, stamped and marked "R. Francard" ?
Hoop ring.
