A "katar" dagger with a double-edged damascus steel blade, decorated with a rich poly-lobed cartouche of foliate scrolls in gold using the koftgari technique on both sides of the heel.
The double-armed steel handle with two crossbars is entirely inlaid with floral and foliage motifs.
